Lucid Inception : Awakening

This thriller novel is about a man (Tom) who suffers from vivid nightmares. He experiences one nightmare in particular that continues to haunt him after fully awakening. In this nightmare, Tom finds himself waking up in the middle of the night and leaning over his wife’s (Marge) side to check if she is asleep. When he leans over he notices a knife clinched in her hand. She suddenly stabs him and he wakes up only to realize he is still dreaming. He leans over his wife again to check on her and realizes she is still holding the knife. Remembering what happened in the first dream, Tom jumps out of bed, and this is where the chase begins! Tom continues to make it just a few moments further each time until Marge catches him and stabs him, sending him into an unbreakable cycle of not knowing nightmare from reality. Read more
